I was watchin the post match programme after the preston/united match and noticed the stretford end has been changed so it says "stretford end" on the 1st tier. Does this mean on the scoreboard end it says "AIG" on one tier and has the Nike swoosh on the other?

on another forum i frequent i saw read that aig had not paid to get the writing on the seats . it also said that stetford end, which used to have nike on it now has stretford end on it. and that the side with vodaphone logo on it will now have the nike logo

When I was at OT in July both the Stretford End and K stand had NIKE swoosh's on the seats. I don't know about the signage because there was none while i was there.

Not very imaginative to put "Streford End" there. Surely they could have put "Sir Matt Busby" or something like that.

It doesn't matter much to me. I like it saying "Stretford End" there. Plus I'd much prefer anything like that as opposed to something corporate.

I don't see why Nike would want to drop us....we are still one of the top clubs in the world in regards to merchandising/marketing, and that can't be bad for them

About a year ago there was some noise about Nike reviewing their participation with Utd. Probably just review of the terms of the contract to see if it could be made more favorable to them.

Its the name of the stand mate and its about time it starts gettin fully recognised as the stretty.
The nike one is now on The k-stand cause aig didnt pay for seat sponsorship . The banners are still there-Only half up though this week cuz club didnt have time to put them up after the international at o.t. this week
