Yaya Toure is already talking shit about his former coach.

Yeah hes one of the best players and the manager didnt have much faith in him. Theres no excuse for that. Hopefully the new guy will get more out of him and play him in his proper role.

If you all had the chance, what positions would you improve so Monaco would be better?

I'd start from the back first because its the weakest. Givet is the only solid player back there. Monsoreau, Dos Santos, Modesto, Bolivar, Cufre, I mean come on, these guys are mediocre at best.

And then from there?

Too many players are playing out of their positions. Put 'em back where they belong and we should see this:

------------------Koller------------------
--Menez--------------------------Gakpe--
-----------------Meriem------------------
----------Toure---------Bernardi----------
-Cufre---------------------------Modesto-
--------Monsoreau--------Givet-----------
------------------Roma-------------------

Both of the lateral backs are shakey as hell. The rest of the team might be better then fine..... Even solid!

Guidolin seems to be doing a much better job at Palermo. Maybe its those pink uni's.

Pastor said he wouldnt resign. Anyway they cant even beat Nice because they drew 0-0 with them at home. Monsoreau out injured for 5 weeks.

why should pastor resign? he's the richest man in monaco (no mean feat) and he'll take the whole show down with him if he wants. or even if he doesn't want.

ASM is one club that will have a hard time fighting their way back up from L2. money could lure very good players to the sun to play in front of 2,000 fans for DD and a CL spot, but to play in 2nd division? for pastor's troupe of clowns?

a few years ago the club had an idea to apply to play in seria A instead of france. maybe now they should see about admission to the qatari league.

it's all very sad, since monaco was the first team in france that caught my fancy, but that a century ago... seems like more!

It would be a shame to see the gorgeous Stade Louis II resigned to showcase second division play...and the European SuperCup. Ok, you get my point, for the sake of aesthetics, get your act together ASMFC ! (side note: my first Ligue 1 match was at the Stade Louis II, it undoubtedly has a special place in the ole coeur)

an added advantage is that Louis II is the only stadium in L1 where you can get real beer at concessions. also merguez-frites sandwiches! and no standing in line! but then, can you really see the principality accepting the alternative, which is a horde (well, 2 or 3 would suffice i guess) of kebab vans around the stadium? right between hermès and cartier?

of course it's a far cry from what you get at an american stadium, where eating is more important than the game, but usually, if you really need something to eat at halftime  you can get crushed for 10 minutes for a lukewarm near beer and the kind of ham sandwich they sell on the TGV (another place you should never get hungry).

the real tip for those going to gerland is to get off a station early (debourg) and eat at kral kebab. better kebab, colder beer, cheaper than the roulottes, and you get to sit down. que veut le peuple?

this is not a paid announcement, and bears no relation to any opinion relating to free speech, the european union, or genocides past present and future.
