The 4-5-1 seemed to work against Lillestrom, so it's entirely possible we might see it again.
To be frank, I'm not concerned with the result of this game near as much as I am with getting through it healthy and keeping the good vibe we got going in the second Intertoto leg.

Eh... it's only a friendly. And apparently we fought back, so that's good.

In other good news, Shola scores again, and draws the penalty for the PK. Duff apparently look good in his hour, and best of all, no injuries.

Before this game kicked off I was thinking how the result didn't matter as it was a pre-season etc. However, at 3-0 down I must confess I was gutted. How could we be losing so heavily? Anyway, a few inspired substitutions by Glenn and a couple of goals later and everything's alright. God, do we need another strike to play up front with Shola or what? Still, I believe we got through the without picking up any injuries which, to me, is the most important thing. Bring on Villarreal!

It is also a friendly for PSV. Also it's not like we were playing a lineup full of our reserves. I'm glad we fought back but no matter how you want to spin it giving up 3 goals is bad. Were Bramble, Taylor, and Parker not playing when we let these in?

If you guys get Klose, you will be all set. Great to see Duff doing well on his first outing. I guess I'll be watching a bit more of Newcastle matches to see him and Ameobi.

no injurys are great.
we battled back late so that shows fitness and resolve.
we still need a striker but luque and shola are doing o.k. because we all know that the new striker WILL be injured alot:(

Shit! I thought this was tomorrow. Anyway, VoH for NUFC, anyone? I've always liked him. And screw Celtic.
Thx,
Jay!
