If you haven't seen this yet, check out Moritz Volz's webpage.

http://www.volzy.com/index.html

Some pretty funny stuff on there, including an entire page dedicated to "The Hoff"

Thanks! Great link.

Damn he seems like a great guy!

Great to see that, I almost had the impression 100% of German football players were armani-handbag carrying fashion-victims without interest in anything else than their clothes, haircut or terrible music.

Well thanks to Nowitzki and now Volz we'll never get over that Hasselhoff thing but I also think it's certainly a funny reaction to possible ripping from his teammates.

So between the games he just went back and did his a-levels, respect!
Also love the story about "Zecke" Neuendorf, another example that not all Bundesliga players have no personalities and are stiff and boring .

Yeah, it's quite refreshing to see a site like his, not like the usual glitzy yet boring player websites that want to sell you useless trinkets. He does indeed seem like a cool guy, and has a great sense of humor (I especially like the picture of him against Ronaldo with the caption "That's how you do it Ronaldo"). I also like the fact that he doesn't take himself that seriously.

Hot milk with honey is the way forward - it's what puts the 'G' in Germany.

:D

I liked since I saw him play a game with Fulham last or the season before that. He had such a rough game, got fouled, elbowed, pushed into the crowd, then got into a fight with a fan he fell into.
It was ridiculously impressive.

Haha, I think it's the wine I just drank but I'm in love! ;)

I just just found his i-pod playlist, he listens to 'The way we get by'. That's a sign! This song is on my mp3-player too and I love Kasabian.
The remark about the Arctic Monkeys is great too!

Jaison I'd rep you if I could for posting this here!

from his diary:

"I was kind of glad Portugal won. It had already been a long journey and if it had gone to England the traffic would have been murder! Had every confidence that the England penalty takers wouldn't let me down - and they didn't"

I'm always a bit skeptical if those stars (ok, might not be the best description for Volz but whatever :D) actually have something to do with their own websites at all, though. I'm sure some do (and this might be the case here), but I wouldn't be shocked if there are some agents out there who think along the lines of "let's put out a funny website to build up some kind of cult-following to finally get some $$$ out of it!".
