Howdy, mates. Any of you guys in Germany know how how to obtain single-game tickets to a home match at Allianz? Ill be in Bayern(dad is from Regensburg) in late September & Id like to get tickets for the home match against Aachen, tentatively scheduled for 9/23. Allianz is a client of the law firm where I work, so I might have a contact there who can help. But if that falls through, I need some other ideas.
Thanks in advance.

Did you check on www.fcb.de site, but usually the tickets go fast and in advance. The other alternative would of course be ebay....

They have a ticket info up on their site, which says that they are already overbooked for the homegames against Dortmund, Bremen, Nürnberg, Hertha, Aachen, Stuttgart, Schalke, Hamburg and Mainz. Furthermore they say that the only accept orders for the rest of the homegames (national or international) from members or from fanclubs
So, the best place getting tickets should be ebay, even if they are overpriced. Even as member you can order tickets 10 times and get not a single ticket in the end, cause the date of ordering is the decisive point
edit: the ticketing situation is a kind of horror show since the AA has been built. So the best choice being in the AA and watching a game is 1860 (god forgive me that I've said this), but if you only wanna see Bayern at the AA then go for ebay, but be prepared for paying up tp 200% of the normal price

I don't understand why they didn't add a bigger capacity when the stadium was build. I mean it's no surprise that they can easily fill the stadium with 69.000 seats, even the old Olympiastadion was sold out almost every time. Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in Europe so 80.000-90.000 seats should be appropriate.

I think it would have cost way more to maintain it and build it, and Bayern only was able to do that because 1860 payed some of it. But them doing so badly last season they didnt make much money. And almost went bankrupt. So I think mostly because of money reasons.

I think the size is fine, because Bayern will have off years and will not sell out the entire place, even though they will sell more tickets in an off year at Allianz than Olympiastadion because Allianz has a much better atmosphere so more tickets would be sold at the new place. Also they are constantly working on modifying the arena so more and more people can fit in through the gates, so its not like its that big of a deal. We have much more important issues than to deal with capacity size. Just an example of a more important issue with the stadium is 1860 going to be able to make the money to pay their part...there are soo many other worries that Bayern have that doesn't deal with the Allianz, let alone capacity :p

Im happy the arenas capacity is being increased,i think to around 70,000,but if im not mistaken there are at least a few thousand standing places,i love standing areas, and its great that the BL allows them, but i dont like it when it comes to CL matches, because the stadium cannot be filled to capacity, unless the new standing areas can be quickly converted to seating areas and then made back into standing areas again, which i doubt

A bigger stadium means more costs building and maintaining it. I'm glad the stadium is bigger, cause with the financially struggling 1860 a bigger stadium really would Bayern hurt more in the end.
The next important point is that everyone wants to be at least one time in the new stadium, consequently there is a huge demand. These huge demand is creating a huge black market (just look at ebay) and the measure controlling failed imo completely

Yes, for tickets for matches in spring you should order in September at the latest. For matches in February you should order now.

Actually it is forbidden to sell the tickets to higher prices.
Maybe I should check out eBay, give notice to FC Bayern and get some money from them for my help to fight the black market trade.:D

Hello, gentlemen.
We (4 of us) are going to Wies'n this year and as per usual we wanted to see a match in Munich whilst we are there. Our mates in Munich have managed to somehow miss the tickets for the Alemannia game. They've been asking around but fellow season-ticket holders have been unable to help. I wondered if there were any web-sites where there is a ticket exchange where people might come up with last-minute tickets if they can't make the match? We can ask our mates in Munich to pick them up, of course.
Thanks in advance for any help.

eBay - glorified touting. As don't want to encourage touting, would rather not go down that route.
For example, LFC sites like www.redandwhitekop.com have ticket exchanges which are strictly moderated to make sure that tickets exchange hands for face value (and, perhaps, a beer), which works really well and has been of great help. So, there is no Bayern equivalent? Shame.

Will look for some ways. Just a shame, 'cos for the last two years, we'd take a break from Wies'n on the Saturday of our trip and go watch Bayern - saw 3-1 v Freiburg in 2004 and 2-0 v. Wolfsburg last year.
