This is going to be a season long tribute thread to one of the greatest Bayern players of all time.
http://mehmet-scholl.com/fotos/vergsaisons_2_01_full/vergsaisons_238.jpg
He's already my all time favourite Bayern player and I have already ordered the away Bayern shirt with his name on it.
I just hope Bayern make a fitting testimonial match for him. I mean Dennis Bergkamp style.
Just thinking about him retiring makes me sad.
Any way in this thread I will try to post as much Mehmet Scholl goals as possible. And in the end of the season I will make a tribute compilation video to Scholli.

Excellent idea......I'll dig up some pics, anyone else who wants to can feel free to do so.....
Scholl is a true legend....one of the best and most underrated players of our generation really...never really got his credit internationally. He was vital to Bayern's success in the 90s and our victorious CL campaign.
I hope he goes out in style with yet another BL title and a worthy testimonial....including Effe, Kuffour, Elber and all the old buddies.

Another picture I love is this.
One of the few players in the world that can do that to Kahn and get away with it....

You misspelled Riquelme. :D
Mehmet Scholl while playing for the KSC. Looked a bit like Owen Hargreaves back in the days.

Might be my favorite Bayern player of all-time. I still have the '92 Kicker Pre-Season "Sonderheft" with Scholl & Sternkopf on the cover. Id really love to get his signature on that.

When it is time, I wish the event could be organised uniquely in a Bayern/Scholli fashion.

Farewell to Mehmet Scholl... perhaps the last of a dying breed for Germany... a creative mid with flare and innovation. I certainly hope someone comes along and supplants him in my mind, but until then, he will be the best at what he does. He was my Littbarski of the last decade. I will miss then man!
