That exists? I hate it when CBs play based on one side or the other. It means they are sometimes hesitant to go after balls on the other side, even when the other is out of position. Our CBs should always play as a partnership, never as right- and left-center backs.

Interesting, I've never noticed that. It actually seems to me to be somewhat the opposite, because often when Gallas is on the left it's the right full who's doing more attacking than the left, meaning JT moves out right to cover more often. I'll be watching for this.

He does it for England, too. You'll also notice that Rio always plays on the right for ManUre and England.
