a friend of mine is flying to Argentina Buenos Aires this weekend, does anyone recommend a good places where one could buy authentic jerseys from

Tell him to go anywhere near Calle Florida in Capital Federal, there are TONS of soccer jersey stores. Just walk around several blocks in the area and he should have no problem. He'll probably be able to find all of those jerseys, I didn't know Velez had a third jersey.

A lot of the jerseys you find on or near Calle Florida are fake believe it or not...most of them you can't even tell. if you are not a "true" fan of these teams then i wouldn't care but if you want official stuff, I would go to "Solo Deportes". Solo Deportes is a sports store chain all throughout Buenos Aires. They actually have a website you can check it out.

I love that store...i lived down there with my grandma for 6 months and i probably bought something from there like minimum once a week. You could buy jerseys, shorts, socks, sweaters, jackets everything. i noticed that they didn't have stuff for a couple teams but regardless its a good start. and the best thing is that its all in Argentine prices.

i hate to say it but i the store at river. rivermania its called has good prices, although you are only going to get river and argentina jerseys

i was there about 2 weeks ago

but i got the argentina away with tevez on it for about 70.00 U.S.

They do the official numbering there so you can get whomever you want on the shirt

in boca there are tons of stores but a lot of fakes, and the stores right across from Bombenera and the store in the stadium are really pricey
