It appears that unlike the previous three movies, this one (http://tmnt.warnerbros.com/) will be done completely in CGI.

Speaking of which:
Around the height of the TMNT's mainstream popularity (early-mid 1990), one of my professors at SJSU gave an early-morning pop quiz: we had to write down the names of four Renaissance artists.
I was really sleepy that morning and couldn't come up with a single name. Then I remembered the Ninja Turtles and ended up acing the pop quiz. :D

Certainly you've had similar results recalling "Schoolhouse Rock" ditties under test pressure?
Amazingly, one of my young autistic clients, who rarely speaks coherently, appears to be well versed in these.
Re-learning what a "bill" and "conjunction" is in random spurts on the job.:)

Just got back from the film. It was awesome!
And it's even more awesome that it's truly the fourth film in the movie series and not a reboot! :)

The film's Wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TMNT_%28film%29) (which itself contains spoilers) includes an interesting tidbit about a scene in the film full of references to the past and present films:
Towards the end of the film, several items are shown that reference the live action movies. These include: Shredder's helmet and staff, the canister of ooze that mutated the turtles and Splinter (labeled TCRI instead of TGRI, though the crack is strategically placed to work either way), Winters' helmet, the time scepter from the third film, and pieces of the battle suits of armor worn by the Turtles in the third film.
