The NZFC championship is not pretty to watch. A few young, promising juniors is all that makes it at all interesting. English lower division style, or worse--Of course, NZ's only pro team, the Knights, ain't a whole lot better at this point, although their pre-season has been promising.
Unlike last year's tournament rep, Sydney FC, who looked quite respectable, playing Auckland will be like having a bye all the way.
