At the moment my top 5 would probably be:

and why lynch, he was in the scottish 2nd division.. i hope he doesnt star in the a-league because it will make our league look like shit!

Lynch has played and scored for both Celtic, and Preston North End. He is a good addition to the league, and i think he will flourish here. Him succeeding wont look anywhere near as stupid as thompson doing so, out of the belgium league.
as for giraldi, hes already debuted for empoli, and is an olyroo? any more justification. This is just a prediction for the upcoming season however.

Fair enough that its a prediction, but we get told a lot of cr@p here.
Giraldi was only on the books at Empoli, maybe played some primavera games, he was loaned out to a Serie C2(4th div) club and couldn't get a game. Its the clubs here that give them a big wrap, they say they've bought a player from a Serie A club. When really he was loaned out for experience and didn't cut it in 4th div.

i'm gonna stick to players from A-League year 1
1) Qu - the man's got skills, much as i hate adelaide i hope he makes it back
2) Archie
3) CAN'T THINK WHO TO PUT HERE
4) Carney, one dimensional, but his one dimension is quite good
5) Reinaldo, (showed huge potential though without alot to show for it, but i definately think he's got what it takes and should (hopefully) shine in season
I'd love to have included Dwight Yorke, but he simply didn't impress me

you can probably put jeremie brockie in there, if it werent for him nz would have been even worse than they were.. wish he was an aussie!
