So, I take it that you went to a FCN training?

How I told you earlier on, it was the day when I went to Valznerweiher for the Everton ticket. I knew they had a training session ... so I took my cam with me in order to make you happy. ;)

Du bist soooooooo glücklich!!!!

Wieso? Ich bin ja kein FCN-Fan (sondern mein Bruder)...

What a nice distraction from my work I am being "tormented" with right now
(just crap report writing from a cruelty case I did on Monday...langweilig!!!)

I knew that you also needed a cheer-up after the Cup disaster from Wednesday. :-)

Btw: How many cruelty cases do you have to report every day? Poor animals. :(

How is it that you manage to get all of these great FCN pictures?
FCN fussball mafia oder so etwas? ;)

LOOOL! There's no secret behind this ... since I only need my digi cam for that!

I'm sure you can't await my pics from the Everton match, do you? :-)

Gute N8

PS: Here's 2 clips to give you the courage back for the Stuttgart home game (look at Kennedy's sensational goal in the first video).

Awwwww, danke.

How many cruelty cases do you have to report every day?

And what I meant about the "fussball mafia"...was just that you get all these great pictures, and so up close too! And you are right, I eagerly await your future pictures! :)

Good luck today guys... neither of us can afford a bad result...it's a must-win for both sides.

Simply incredible how many big scoring opportunities were missed once again by the hosts (Kennedy 3x, Mintal, Glalasek) ... so I don't wonder why they lost the game in the end!

Surely no beautiful birthday for Hans Meyer...

Here's 2 match reports with stats:

Kennedy is even worse than Charisteas. Simply so bad. My boys were lucky, but still, teams who finish like that don't win points.

I told my buddies up in Erlangen and Nuernberg that Kennedy can run, but that's all he can do.

He is great at the Regionalliga level, but at the Bundesliga level he is shit.

Charisteas? What a f#cking joke, they were f#cking stupid for letting Schroth go and getting stuck with this crappy striker.

Martin Bader followed up a great off-season with a not-so-good one.......

Saenko could though, and when he's on form he's lethal in front of goal, so I don't know why FCN don't move him off the wings and into a strikers spot. Mintal is also excellent in front of goal, yet they play him behind the strikers.

There would be solutions, just FCN aren't using any of them.

I agree. But no one said they didn't have any solutions......

At least he was a very decent 2nd league striker in Dresden...

I don't think he's sooo bad (did you see his fantastic goal against Frankfurt?) as you think (and my brother thinks, too). Let him play a few more games after his long-term injury ... and we'll see. He's very strong in the air, so he needs a lot of good cross balls. Unfortunately they don't have real wingers at the moment...

Kennedy missed a lot of chances against Stuttgart ... however, at least he had these chances and wasn't invisible like Saenko (who's totally out of form after his injury)!

I wouldn't judge him too early. His best time is surely history, but I don't think he's as bad as you rate him. Don't forget that new players always need some time to get acclimatized!

I have to agree with Borussia when he said to give the new players time to get acclimatized. That falls in line with the whole "team chemistry" thing.
I think we need to give them a chance. I don't think FCN has any "shit" players, we just need to sort ourselves out and once we have our chemistry working together, it shouldn't be a problem, and we'll get stronger.
It is unfortunate how things have turned out so far this season, but what's done is done.

An interesting article:

http://www.nz-online.de/artikel.asp?art=723111&kat=32

I am really horrible at translating from any language into English (I can do the other way around no problem), but, it basically talks about how the team still has faith in their abilities, despite the recent "search for explanations".

What? Do you really believe this??

Mark my words. Joshua Kennedy will never be anything in the Bundesliga besides a worthy substitute.......

He can run like a puppy and jump like a kangaroo, but against defenders who know what they're doing, he's clueless!

Get acclimatized to what?! He's played in the Bundesliga before. He speaks German. Hans Meyer doesn't play any f#cking alien tactics!

Get acclimatized to what man?? Misimovic and Kluge sure haven't had a problem getting "acclimatized."

Charisteas was shit before he left Werder, he was shit for Ajax and he's shit now.

I believe Martin Bader saw UEFA Cup Football coming and panicked. In doing so, he f#cked with the chemistry of his team.

Will they get that back? Some of it, yes, I think so. But enough to be as consistent as they were last season? No, I don't think so.

I believe getting Pinola and Vittek back is what will help this team the most, not some scrubs using your "acclimatization" excuse.......

Here's a report about the Thursday night opponent Everton (hey Annje, what about translating it? ;)):

Btw: I'm really curious if Charisteas & Kluge will get fit on time for this game.

Hehehe, du Klugscheißer....oder "på svensk" - viktigpetter ;)

That's the wrong expression in this case. "Du fieser Kerl" suits better...;)

Take the flight next morning (I fear it would be even at night for you:-) ... and I'll sell you my ticket! ;)

Now I'm watching CL on my internet live streams again. Later on I'm going to post the latest pre-games infos.

Ciao.

Bad news for the Glubb fans: Peer Kluge and Angelos Charisteas won't be able to play. Especially Kluge is a huge loss...

The duel "Galasek vs Pienaar" should be very interesting, as both know each other very well from former times at Ajax. I think much will depend on how the hosts manage to cope with Arteta; it's no secret that the LB position is the weak point since Pinola's injury...

Everton is the fav team, but 1. FCN isn't as bad as many may think due to their current BL ranking. They have a good midfield and their alleged poor attack with Kennedy & Saenko will go beyond itself tonight. You'll see:-)

Here's a pre-match report:

07.11.2007:

PS: There's a public viewing in the Old Town for all those Toffees who make the trip without tickets. Unfortunately, we have the worst weather you can imagine here in Nürnberg at the moment (it's cold, rainy and windy)...
