Of the remaining 3 teams we have left in the UEFA Cup, they are easily the weakest IMHO.

They had a lucky match. They couldn't follow up.

That's what you look at, if the team can follow up.

Just like Stuttgart. I liked what I saw from you guys in beating Leverkusen on Saturday, but I'm not going to believe you guys are "back" just because you got one win.

I thought it was a good sign, but I'd have more confidence in you guys being "back" than in FCN.

FCN committed a cardinal sin. They f#cked with their chemistry way too much. Stuttgart did too, but they at least upgraded.

FCN? The only "upgrades" they got were Misimovic and Kluge. The rest?

They stink so far......

For sure it's terrible form, but I never rate a team's present form past the last couple of matches that they have played.

Of course that does count the horrible last game against Wolfsburg as well, but I still believe they are on an upwards trend.

For one, I don't expect them to be fighting relegation come the end of the season. Then again, they also won't have a fairytale year like in 06/07.

They obviously didnt follow up away from home, but at home it does seem they are back on track. And there is a difference of course, a side can be great away from home but shit at home and vice versa.

Either way, I think whoever wins the game between FCN and VfB will be heading back in the right direction. And using my home/away from home theory, one could see an upwards trend for FCN in their last home matches, whereas us, although we looked to be alright again at Leverkusen, and more importantly we got three points(though I agree with you this was just a good sign more than anything else), I must point out that we still haven't gotten a single point away from home this season, in any competition.

With this in mind, I would predict Nuernberg to get the 3 points in a weeks time. I hope I end up totally wrong. And of course this is just one way of looking at it.


And of course I may just be paranoid since they kicked our ass twice last season, and the third time they won in a brilliant cup final between two sides who didn't deserve to lose. So, maybe I just have FCN-o-phobia atm :D

Wolfsburg - Der 1.FCN hat am 11. Spieltag der Bundesliga eine Niederlage einstecken müssen. Am Samstag (27.10.07) verloren die Cluberer vor 19.798 Zuschauern in der Volkswagen Arena beim VfL Wolfsburg mit 1:3 (0:2). Nach dem 0:2-Pausenrückstand durch die Treffer von Angelos Charisteas (30., Eigentor) und Grafite (34.) hatte Zvjezdan Misimovic per Foulelfmeter auf 1:2 verkürzt (54.). Die Nürnberger Hoffnungen auf ein Remis zerstörte dann Wolfsburgs Ashkan Dejagah, der den 3:1-Endstand markierte (67.).

Well the doctor already she can tell I'll need a surgery just for the Miniskusriß itself, but she is afraid something else is going on, but we have to wait until I get the MRI done. And I think why I've had so many knee "problems" is because not only do I play football, but I play other sports that are abusive to the knees (gymnastics, and volleyball). Also, kein Überraschung, wirklich!

"bashing" ..well I've seen some stuff, maybe all not so much bashing but more of the "ha ha you suck this season and my team will kick your ass" kind of thing going on. Sure, kick us when we're down. *lol*
