Well I thought I'd subscribe to the "Aussie" club in Germany. From what I hear things arent going so well for you guys. How are the Aussies going?

Kennedy & Beauchamp (I've seen them both live last Wednesday) are in a pretty bad shape at the moment. At least Spiranovic played solidly. Vidusic is a great talent, but he's definitely no 1st team player yet.

Awwww, danke! :) I had actually seen something on Franken TV Nachrichten talking about Andy's injury, they had a "mini-interview" with him about it, and showed him getting some physical therapy also). Just what we need now, more injury. But I liked the more in-depth interview you found! It even asked what he felt about if the "eurphorie" had anything to do with the current situation with "Der Glubb".

Joa, I did see your reply at the FCN.de forum. :) Although, I am still embarassed to go in there. At first it was that I was apprehensive to post in there because of my German, but no one said anything about that (so maybe it is not as bad as I thought? Like you said!)...but I did get the impression that I was perhaps regarded as some kind of "fangirl" in there, which is not the case at all. I've been following Alexander Stephan since about..3 years now I guess, and I just have this "starkes Gefühl" that he is going to be one hell of a keeper. I wasn't wrong about Jens Lehmann 17 years ago when I felt the same thing! So..no fangirling from me. :)

5:1 - der erste Heimsieg!

Was für ein Befreiungsschlag! Am Samstag gewann der Club gegen Eintracht Frankfurt mit 5:1 (1:1). Vor 45.050 Zuschauern im easyCredit-Stadion hatte in der zwölften Minute Takahara zunächst die Gäste in Front geschossen, ehe Charisteas der 1:1-Ausgleich glückte (20.). Nach der Pause markierten dann Mintal (50., 64.), Misimovic (54., Foulelfmeter) und Kennedy (82.) die Treffer zum 5:1-Endstand. Der erste Heimsieg in dieser Bundesliga-Saison!

Tut mir leid....things have been busy with work, and very much stress too from it. I wasn't offended...offended at what? :)

And I have to say...one thing about us Glubärä that I have noticed recently, is that no batter how much of an
"off day" our players might have, we don't (as far as I have never noticed this) turn on our players, or scream ugly things at them on the pitch, or "boo" at them, etc.
I just realized this at Wednesday's match with Schalke gegen Chelsea...some of the Schalke fans were being so cruel to Manuel Neuer. I am so glad us Glubärä don't do that!

Well thank you again for brightning my day.
I recently also got a football injury myself (nur Meniskusriß as far as my Dr. knows so far) which will, of course require a surgery (not the first time I will have required that surgery due to playing footie!), so this cheered me up! Danke noch einmals! :)

THE travelling army of Evertonians heading for Germany is expected to be the biggest exodus of away game blues in 25 years.

Up to 6,000 supporters are expected to make the journey to Nuremberg for Everton’s Uefa cup tie on November 8.
