1-1 against Cottbus. It's really a shame the referee decided to screw FCN by not allowing the 2-1 goal. No Nürnberg player touched Piplica, and Cottbus were very lucky in that situation.

Nürnberg was clearly screwed by the referee in this game! :rolleyes: Doubtful penalty for Cottbus, Vittek sent off and then the correct 2:1 winner not allowed...

Nevertheless, Nürnberg can be happy to have scored the equalizer in the end ... since they were down to 10 men and Cottbus had enough chances to score the 2:0.

2-2, good result for FCN considering H96 had a 2-0 lead. Nice to see Misimović scoring for his new team, with a very well controlled shot. Mintal getting some confidence with the very late 2-2 goal. H96 probably should have had a penalty in the second half if I remember correct, when Hanke was pulled down .

Some more bad news for the Nürnberg fans the day before the UEFA-Cup home game against Rapid Bucharest: After Robert Vittek's serious injury, it seems that Saenko, Kennedy and Kluge are doubtful as well for tomorrow:
