Congrats Nuernberg, it was a suspenseful game in which you guys probably deservedly came out on top.

Hope you enjoy celebrating the title, after about 39 years even i can say you should enjoy it.

It´s a meniscus injury.
The doctors first feared a heavy knee injury, but Marek Mintal
had according to this source[/URL] luck.

All the best for him on his way of recovery.

Well, his certainly deserves a little bit of luck.

Congrats Nürnberg. :)

Trouble's brewing in Franconia!

All FCN supporters are very, very angry at the BR 3 (Bavarian public tv broadcaster, based in Munich), which transmitted the team's home-coming on Sunday.

Reason: There was a delay of about 30 minutes in the program due to the huge crowd which seamed the streets (about 200,000) on the way from the airport to the market square. Just at the moment when the team left the city hall in order to party with the fans, and when Hans Meyer started to address a few words to the crowd (it was exactly 4 pm), the BR 3 suddenly stopped the transmission and brought an animal documentary! Simply incredible, isn't it? That stage director must be a Bayern fan...;)

Finally, after massive protests from Franconia, the BR apologized and promised to bring a repetition on Thursday night (11 pm - 1.30 am) with the whole program ... i.e. Hans Meyer's speech and the team's party with the fans.

Guess what happens in the case that the BR 3 will cancel Bayern Munich's next Meisterfeier for an animal documentary ... I think that Hoeneß, Rummenigge and Stoiber would get very mad. :-)

That's pretty funny . An animal documentary? Must have been about some animals eating their young, thus a warning from the semi-evil empire.

The 2nd keeper of the Czech national team, Jaromir Blazek, signed for 1. FC Nürnberg. He's Raphael Schäfer's (Stuttgart) successor.
