Nice to see Salomon Kalou. No mention of John Obi Mikel though, maybe he doesn't have a work permit, yet? Damien Duff was also training with the squad.

Chelsea TV claimed coverage would start at 11:00. It started at 11:20, so my guess is that, for whatever reason, this will actually be delayed for me. This country is appalling at delivering any sort of customer service.

I'd do it once the game starts.......has it started yet? I can't tell - I had thought it was 11:30 my time. (or 6:30 EST) Is that not right?

Well, if it starts around that time, I'll do PbP.

Incidentally, the reason I can't take old players comments on what happens now seriously is what Dixon is blathering about in the studio. Legend, I know. But the "in my day" stuff's a bit old. That and predicting us to win by 2 goals. Um.....not sure I see that.

Oh, Ferreira is playing CB. WE NEED TO KEEP GALLAS.
SWP, Drogba and Sheva up top. Ballack, Lampard and Essien in the middle.

The great commentating duo of Wynalda and O'Brien is back and started with a funny anology;

"if you want to win a race, you gotta have a good car, Dave, this is a good car"

refering to Chelsea.

And we're off, with some poor video quality. Paulo at CB.

Drogba has his first slightly theatrical fall of the new season. And as I say that, we see the good old Chelsea, slowing play down. Ahh, I've missed this.

We almost break, slightly poor pass from Sheva and control from SWP lets us down. SWP tries to send Drogba away after getting away from his marker very nicely, but Drogba can only foul the defender while chasing the ball.

The pitch looks horrible :eek:

Paulo's not a CB. That's apparent.

I have to say, it is actually a bit.......hard to beleive that I'm watching Chelsea with Ballack and Sheva on the pitch. I'm as giddy as a little girl. Well, not really.
Meanwhile, SWP helps to usher a ball out for a corner. Geremi needs to not jump with his hands in the air, by the way.
