What a great victory yeasterday for Valentino Rossi, starting in 11th position and passing everyone to win the GP, he then celebrating by wearing Marco Materazzi's jearsy, the original shirt worn by materazzi in the final...
NOW that's GREAT! Now this is a great month for Italian sports.

WC winners, then Valentino Rossi coming back to winning ways in a consistent way, then Ferrari winning both at Indianapolis and then yesterday in France....
Then a very nice show by our young long jumper Andrew Howe in Rome Golden Gala...
hey.... a fan's life doesn't get any better then this.

....Materazzis trikot should used as toilet-paper....just like Materazzi himself. Someone so dusgunstnig like him....it's a shame that Rosse supports such unclassy behaviour.

Materazzi is the victim of a violent act, not the other way around.
Zidane is just a "Toro", if Materazzi had a red mantle then Zidane would have followed the red mantle.

Saying stuff about another players family makes you the agressor. If i was in Zidanes place i'd have kicked Materazzis balls off. He was still too nice to him. Materazzi showed the world how to win: missbehaving and taunting others till they see red.

Oh and who is the victim? the toro or the torrero?

Just like in real life, the torero (the smarter one) had the best over the toro (less brain).

And besides being smarter Materazzi would just kill Zidane in a face to face fight.

Perfect! Loved the gesture by Valentino Rossi. Since the headbutt given by Zidane that Materrazi is always refered to as the guilty party, and Zidane as the victim. This is Bullsh*t! Zidane is one of the best players, but also one of the most ignorant and emotionally unstable ones. Rossi hit the bullseye, and recovers some justice. Propz to Rossi and Italia.

Having lived in a french ghetto like zdane should enable you to beat almost everyone in a face-to-face clash.

And it is just a shame how you people think saying rude stuff to another player till he overreacts is smart....but ok...antonio75 youre obviously portuguise, so fair-play is of course nothing of interest for you

Valentino Rossi is a huge Inter fan and long time Marco Materazzi close friend.
I believe wearing his jersey was just a way to celebrate the friend, nothing else, nothing more.
It was nice IMO to hear Valentino speaking about his friend and how he's so sweet in family and in private life comparing with how he's so rude and aggressive when playing.
The Zidane incident have nothing to do with this.

Not only a good month for Italian sports, but also a good year if we include hosting a successful Olympic Games, doing well in the medal standings in the process.

Bravo to Vale Rossi. One World Champion saluting another.
