Hey there!
I was just curious to find out what people thought about this guy from Alianza.
World Soccer (the mag) rated him as one of the most promising players worldwide on one of its issue last year.
So, I just wanted to find out some general thoughts about this guy....strenghts/weaknesses, NT (youth?) experience?
Thanks for any info, guys!

Do you have a link to this article? Unless you have the physical magazine. I would love to read it.

Well, to be honest, it wasn't an article, per say.
They just listed some of the most promising players at the U20 level from last year, and they had him there. They had about a paragraph for every player (they listed about 50 I think) I will do some sniffing around, and see what I can find, though. ;)

He needs to live up to his potential otherwise he'll be another Henry Quinteros. :o

Bwhahahahaha Junior Viza.
He needs to step UP to become a Quinteros. He wouldn't make Peru's D team right now.

You don't like him because he made a "huacha" to Jorge Soto in his first match.

I honestly don't remember Quinteros being real good. If anything Viza has a better chance doing a lot more or being better than Quinteros. Quinteros was just a "big promise" in the Sandro Baylon days... but after Baylon's death, Quinteros became your average Peruvian league player.

he was pretty good best 10 since chorri and kukin in my opinion
i believe he was Alianza's best player in the years prior to him going to Cristal and there was even talk of alianza being based around him, they called it pato-dependencia
he never ammounted to anything but an above avarage peruvian player but on ocassion he does have some class moments, he has had a few for Cristal in the Libertadores

So to answer the question, Junior Viza is or was over-hyped. As I said in the 1st post.
