Take it for what it's worth, but this German site says we've signed Mido. (http://www.transfermarkt.de/index.html?anz=/vereine/00_m.php4?verein_id=164)

...good luck to you with him. As long as he keeps the weight down and feels loved he will put in a few goals....but watch out for him turning lazy.

You know, when the rumors first started circling that Rovers were in for Mido, I wasn't really all too excited, if only because of the reasons you mentioned.
In retrospect, I felt the same way about signing Bellamy last season, but that worked out well enough...until he left, of course. But regardless, he played well while he was here and kept himself quiet. I think Hughes may be able to get the same from Mido.

unless it is posted on the official rovers web site then nothing is official and i know that you are on the rovers official forum as i have seen you post today so you know half the people on there dont have a clue about mido.

Yeah, it's quite the feeding frenzy over there regarding Mido.
I know nothing's official yet, but it seems there is way too much smoke for there not to be a fire.

Bellamy is 1/8th the malcontent that Mido is.
I really don't like this if it goes through.

I think it's a case of Roma not really wanting him at this point.
As it is, Roma are pretty well stocked up front, with the likes of Nonda, Montella, and Perotta.

Mido will not be happy until he has played for every club in the world...;)

i am sure he would play a little at roma and also a little in blackburn so i think it would be better for him to stay

i totally agree with you i think mido has been messing us about from day one and if he does sign will not show total comitment while in a rovers shirt.think its time to move onto other targets.i would go for anelka as we are in talks with him apparently.i know he will cost 8 million but i think he would be worth it.i think we have got more than the 10 million pounds to spend

Anelka would be a cancer, regardless of what sort of magic Hughes can spin. I like the Saviola rumors more than the Anelka ones. :D

He's got a decent goal scoring record, and I think Roma is more willing to sell him than keep him. With that said, one would think that the deal would have progressed a bit faster than this if all parties were serious.
