Going on a trip to Moscow next month. I was there about 10 years ago. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who's visited there more recently. What are some tourist attractions that I really shouldn't miss? And if any of you happen to have been to a soccer game there, let me know how it was. I'm thinking of catching a Spartak match if I'm free that day.

I was in Moscow and at the Spartak-Valencia match in the CL group stage. It was a lot of fun. Nothing scary, though I wouldn't have wanted to piss off any of the 2000 or so cops there. It was at Dinamo Stadium which is a a rather crappy place. I'm not sure why it wasn't at big modern Luzhniki Stadium. Of course, as only about 10,000 people showed up it would have seemed a bit silly in cavernous Luzhniki.
