When Celtic played against Chivas Friday night, the shirt sponsor was "Coors Light", not "Carling"? Anyone know if this was a one-off in honor of Chivas' 100th anniversary?

Coors own carling in the states, or vice versa, so on our tour of the US the jerseys have all had coors light on em.

Ive never really seen carling for sale here in the states, nor Coors over in the UK, so I guess it makes marketing sense.
But that still does not excuse the lack of hoops.

Do any of you not like that Rangers and Celtic are both sponsored by Carling? Wouldn't the two like a little difference between them?

Carling at one time had a brewery in Natick, Masssachusetts about 12-15 miles from Boston, where they made Carling Black Label.

A parking lot security guard asked me if the Carling on my kit was the same Carling Black Label. I gave him and blank look and he said "You are probably too young to remember."
