Only just noticed this post - you do know that there's a Wolves forum on here?

Basically he's denied taking anything, but he tested positive for cocaine (Shaun Newton failed a drugs test recently too - you wonder if he was taking anything during his spell at Wolves). Cornes has been suspended for 6 months, but since Wolves suspended him straight after the initial results, the ban actually started back in April.

Anyway, Wolves are standing by him, but I imagine they'll be keeping a very close eye on him:

Moxey: "The club's stance on any drug related issue is clear. We condemn any use of banned substances. However, having spoken with Chris it has been decided that his contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers will not be terminated at this time. However, we have made it clear to him that he could be dismissed if he is unable to demonstrate to the club and its supporters that he is a model professional from this point onwards. He is very grateful for the club supporting him, and regrets the embarrassment caused to the club by the events that have occurred over the past few months."
