I guess what are the expectations for this year?

League?
Cup?
CL and how we play/advance?


Personally, I see Bremen at the top of the league. Let's hope I am wrong:o

I see us finishing third, getting knocked out of the DFB Cup in the semis and making it past the group stages in the CL only.

Not a great year by any means - not by Bayern standards anyways but gotta be realistic and accept a transision and rebuilding period. I don't think all the neccessary transfers will be made this summer so we'll have to wait another season for perhaps an ideal AM and for all things to fall into place.

Too pessimistic? Maybe, but someones gotta be this way.....

with the lineup we currently have

we finish probably 2nd in the league to Bremen
we get knocked out in quarterfinals of DFB Cup
we get knocked out of group stages and win Uefa Cup :p (this ones for Bayerntone since he wanted this trophy a few months ago)

one question, im not sure, but if we do get knocked out of group stages we do enter the Uefa Cup right? or would we be done, i'm not sure on that whole thing...

If we finish third then UEFA Cup, if we finish bottom of the group then caput!!

No third place finishing will still give us a CL qualification, but need to start playing from the 2nd round I think therefore we will have to play 2 legs before reaching the group stage.

dude,he meant in the CL group stages,not in the Bundesliga,just clearin things up. I think Hamburg will win the league,they have signed quite a few good players,Bayern 2nd,Bremen 3rd,lose final of DFB cup,get to quarter final of CL

I'll have Bremen over Hamburg. Watch out for: BvB, Leverkusen; probably Mainz for some upsets if we're not careful; and sorry for Hertha, they're flagging troubles before the league begins.

to your prediction, i'm quite scared but i do like the competition. but the fans of the other clubs, the competition means bayern sucks blah, blah, blah. but if bayern dominates then its like well bayern poaches talent blah, blah, blah. we can never win which brings me to my next point, who the heck cares what anyone else says about bayern if its bad...
