Three coaches in a season, coach obiously isn't the problem here.
And I'm surprised Roeber praised Brzenska, I always thought, from what I read, that he is a big contributor to the problems but its obivously the inflated egos of Kehl, Metze and Woerms.
What a shame.

Exactly what I was saying when everyone was attacking van Marwijk.
Had they backed him instead of panicking, none of this shit would have happened.
But, The Clueless Emperor didn't back van Marwijk because he didn't like van Marwijk. And you have what we have now......

What a shame.
Brzenska's lack of talent is what contributes to the problems on the pitch. I don't think anyone has ever criticized his overall effort level.
And yes, it is a goddamned shame.......

That's my opinion, too. However, weren't you among those who didn't back him?

F#ck no! I fought guys here supporting him when they called for his head!!
But at the end, when it was apparent they were going to fire him, I said it wasn't his fault, but they had to fire him because the team quit on him.
Now, we know that wasn't true. The team quit on each other.

Question: would this be the 1st time we go through 3 coaches in one season?

No. We did it the last time we were in the relegation battle, back in 1999-2000.
Michael Skibbe was fired after we lost our first match after the winter break at home to Kaiserslautern.
Former Gladbach trainer Bernd Krauss took over after that and went winless in ten matches before Udo Lattek and Matthias Sammer took over and steered the team back up the table.
We eventually finished 11th, five points above the highest relegated team, SSV Ulm.

Ok, then I simply remembered it wrongly. However, you can't deny having told me that Thomas Doll is "shit" ... and now you got exactly this coach! :p
But I can make you feel better again by telling you that he isn't shit.

I said Thomas Doll was not a good enough coach or the right man to handle the HSV situation this season. And he wasn't.
I called him clueless, not "shit". And in that situation, he was f#cking clueless.
The thing is, BVB doesn't need a great "coach", we need someone to make our crew of prima donnas play as a team. That, Thomas Doll can do.
So, you don't need to tell me shit.

Doll would be better off as an executive somewhere. I think he would be better finding talent and building programs than coaching.
btw: Do you think your current situation is better than it was in Hamburg?

Ok Keith, let's stop our controversial subject on this topic. I know you were no Doll fan and simply have no other choice than to arrange with him as new BvB manager now. IMO it's no shame to change the own opinion...
I wish you all the best with Thomas Doll and hope he'll manage to save you (the same I hope for Jos Luhukay in MG)!

Funny how you left out the rest of that. The comment was made in the context that Gladbach needed more than a f#cking motivator, which is what Doll is good at and in BVB's case, THAT'S ALL WE NEED!!
Go back to my other mails on the Doll/BVB subject! I said "Doll is not my choice, but while HE DOES NOT HAVE MY CONFIDENCE, he has my SUPPORT!"
btw: Do you think your current situation is better than it was in Hamburg?
HELL F#CKING YEAH IT IS!! WE DON'T HAVE MOST OF OUR ROSTER ON THE F#CKING INJURED LIST!!!

good luck dortmund. really: how can a club in this situation get a trainer like doll? he is the pattex man, who is talking everything good, what isnt to talk good. he more a friend type... and dortmund needs a hard trainer who is punching on the table. doll is more a lovely trainer. but me it dont cares, i have no problem to see dortmund in the second league.

I hope this gives him confidence and hopefully enspires him to give his best, like at rennes when he was scoring 20 a season.

He's not far off that now. Shit, if he had better midfield support, he'd probably be near or at 20 goals now.
With the sheer lack of midfield support he gets in Dortmund, that he has 11 now is decent.
I think Frei is by far the most popular BVB player right now. Especially seeing that he's been voted "Player of the Month" by the fans for two months in a row now.
