Mine have always been the peanut butter patty and the peanut butter sandwich (aka do-si-dos).

But my neice's troop has a new cookie called Animal Treasures that is slowly moving up to the top of the list.
Big square shortbread style cookie that is covered with chocolate on one side.

I got hooked up with 6-7 boxes of cookies last night from one of the lil' girls that is in a girl scout troop that comes to use my climbing wall every now and then.

This morning I brought in a box of Do-Si-Dos for breakfast. She either gave me a defective box of cookies or these things are just plain old.

My faves though are Thin Mints.

That's where I keep mine too.
Those peanut butter patty ones are great frozen.

Thin mints.

I usually don't eat more than 5 or 6 at a time, the trick is to keep the box out of sight and only eat them when you're on your way out the door, that way you only eat as many as you can grab.

Try putting thin mints in the freezer, and eating them that way.
I wouldn't try this myself, but I bet they'd be good deep-fried in batter, scottish style.

mom got me mints and shortbread this year. When I was little....the chocolate peanut butter ones and anything with caramel.

I sold the piss out of those cookies when I was a kid. Every year I sold them, I was top seller.

I think there's something wrong with the Samoas this year. I think they changed them to include more cookie-like stuff and less coconutty stuff.

I dunno... I think it's a conspiracy. I used to love them, but I was really unimpressed this year.

And Caramel Delights.

Speaking of which............. the evil little cookie pushers haven't been around yet  and we are well into cookie season.

I would put money down that my mom still has at least parts of it lingering around if not the whole darn thing...but let's see, I was about 4'6" the last time I wore my Girl Scout jumper and I'm about 5'10" now....um, you do the math. I don't think it's going to fit and I KNOW the brownie uni won't fit!!!

Lemme tell you the secrets to pimpin da cookies to the addicts.

See here's the deal...don't look at it as selling cookies, look at it as kicking the shite out of the competition...an athletic event....ah, but there is strategy....much like soccer, tennis or golf.

1. look cute.....that's right. It's hard to resist a cute little girl braving the cold Ohio weather with a smile on her face. I had really long hair, so my mom would put my hair in adorable little pigtails/dogears/whatever you want to call them with little green bows that scream "Girl Scout" or "Thin Mints"....right there will sell you boxes of cookies.
2. Invade enemy territory when they're not looking: That's right, I played dirty at times. First day of cookie sales....I'd go to school a half-hour early and hit up as many teachers as I could, thus shutting out my classmates (some who were even in my troop). After school, forget the bus, I had my mom get me out a few minutes early and we'd hit surrounding neighborhoods belonging to others in my troop or areas that had no scouts in it. One year, I even braved giant snow drifts and -20 weather. It's all about selling those cookies and getting those prizes....this also goes back to #1 (how can you resist the determination of a cold snow-covered child)
3. Pesistance pays off.....keep track of the houses that didn't answer the first time and either leave my info so they could order cookies or come back to house at another time.
4. Relatives!!!!: That's right, get mom, dad, grandmother to take those forms to work with them and sell sell sell. Hell, if they're going to enjoy the free tickets to Sea World, they might as well help earn them. One of my grandmother's co-workers usually ordered a MINIMUM of 20 boxes from me every year and there was always at least a CASE of mints in the order.
5. Delivery sales: When you deliver the cookies...always have a few of everything extra with you...you can always say "here is your order, is there anything else that I can get for you today." or "here is your order, just so you know, I can get you additional boxes until (whatever date was cutoff) if you'd like"
