You have got to be kidding me if you think I'm going to trot out the whole damn lineup, but if you want to do it feel free. I'll apply the old Excel magic.

DC United - 9
That should do it.
Well...Jaime and Brian Carroll had terrible games but I'll let it slide.....this time.

And did Perkins have a single save? :p

I'd give our 1st team an 8 (still some sloppy passing) and our reserve team a 9 (just based on the fact that they are our reserve team, but played pretty well). It was a good feeling to see an almost seamless transition from the 1st team players to the reserve guys.
Good game.

But on the upside, Troy didn't kick the ball out of bounds at all.

Namoff was practically invisible the entire game.

9 - Stokes and Santino (For not hurting themselves)
8 - Rest of the playing squad
7 - McIntosh (For his great save.......of the falling water bottle)
6 - Prideaux (Avoided the major gaffe)

Of note for me:
Nicky - Looked good. I only caught one CF save attempt by him in the first half. Otherwise look good. I like Troy, but I don't think he would have saved Wilson's poor clearance. Nicky's acrobatics come in handy from time to time :) That said, Troy is still our man (sorry :o).
Tino - We played against a horrid team (or atleast what they did on the pitch) and you still didn't find a way to shine?
Erpen - I give you a lot of flak for your WTF moments, and you had a couple last night. But some of their best chances seemed to come after you came off the pitch rather than when Boz came off the pitch like I thought would happen. Kudos for obviously adding something a bit unseen to our defense.
Freddy - Beautiful play for that goal. That's the kind of awareness and skill we want to see from you on a regular basis.
Reserves - I understand that Celtic decided not to play tonight, but you guys looked good out there.

Nicky did look good, except for on that high fly ball early in the first half that he came out on and didn't get too... that could have been a problem. Also, watching Nick play reminded me of the biggest weakness in Perkin's game... his distribution. Troy just isn't able to side volley balls out to players on the wings, on a rope, as well as Nick yet. Also, Nick is far more decisive and quick in getting the ball out of the back and is far less predictable in how he delivers it, so the opponent isn't able to predict where he might be going at any one time.
As for the rest of the team, everyone gets a 9.5

MOTM- The guy in the front row of Sec 132 that bought out the beer man!

That was funny as hell. Guy dropped $100 and the beer man didn't know what to do.

Honestly, even before he scored, I was thinking that our player of the match was Bos. He was in command, totally calm and assured. I'm not saying that it was impossible for him to have made a major gaffe; but I wasn't worried it would happen. And given that I excel at worrying, that's saying something.
Freddy's game was solid. Not his best from a passing POV, but his ball control was great and he mostly defended well.
The only reserve I walked away feeling a little disappointed with was Moose. Not because he played poorly per se, but because this was my first chance to watch him play for any real length, and based on the pre-season I was hoping for a lot more from him. Given how he's been gone, that's almost certainly unfair of me.
One other thing. We're playing a team from Scotland: how the heck do McTavish and McIntosh not get MAJOR MINUTES?
