This months FIFA rankings were released today. They were made with a completely new ranking system that only counts the last four years.. It looks a little more correct than the old retarded ones did..
The top 10:
1. Brazil - 1630
2. Italy - 1550
3. Argentina - 1472
4. France - 1462
5. England - 1434
6. Netherlands - 1322
7. Spain - 1309
8. Portugal - 1301
9. Germany - 1229
10. Czech Republic - 1223
It looks so much better without teams like Mexico (now 18th) and USA (now 16th) in front of Argentina.. That was just crazy.. Not to mention Czech Republic (now 10th), who used to be 2nd place for a long time.. Then the World Cup came and they showed they didn't deserve that position.
To me, the biggest surprise in this months rankings is Nigeria and Cameroon. They are 11th and 12th, respectively, and they didn't even qualify to the World Cup.

Looks way better!.. Of course you can always argue about this or that country, but the first 10 certainly deserve their place.

I don't think anyone could dispute that those teams are the 10 best in the world.
I'm glad the USA are no longer on the list, it was a mockery having them in the top 5.

They will certainly blame La Volpe for dropping out of the top 8. :D

i think that france should drop a bit because they are losing zidane, makalele and other key members. portugla should move up

LOL.. mexico is back where it should be... even the ranking formula makes clear sense IMO..
although, I'm a little surprised by the African positions.. but maybe that suggests african confed is harder than asia & concacrap??

Not really, we shouldn't have been in the top 10 to begin with. I've always been certain that Mexico is one of the top 20, maybe even top 15 teams in the world, but being #4-#6 for so long was just ridiculous.
No porque les juguemos del tú a tú a ustedes y a los Brasileños quiere decir que somos la cuarta mejor selección del mundo.
Also, there's plenty of idiots like me who stuck with La Volpe until the end. I thank him only for proving that a coach can enjoy a full cycle of uninterrupted work at the helm of the MNT, but his results were honestly subpar.

Mexico in the top 15 would be deserved imho.
