I saw the new Diadora product line up and to be honest it is pretty strong.

They are keeping the Maximus and doing a release of the white ones Totti wore for Roma last season, with the orange trim. There is also going to be an orange model, that looks very good. It is a nice shade of orange, not dull but not road cone orange either.

The Brasil is getting a massive make over again but this time I think they are on to something. The boot will be made in Italy again (it's about time), it will feature a external heel counter, a black and white PU outsole that uses the FG model of the Maximus but it doesn't have spring loaded studs. The upper is all seemless except for one line of stitching across the toe box, this is very nice, and the leather is amazing. This is one of the best boots of the new season. It also features a retro modern design similar to the legend and 7406 with a large Diadora chevron on the boot and simple black and white design.

The Maracana is in my view the gem of the line. This is the current Totti 10 Pro but it is going to be offered in a black, and white with red trim and white and black with red trim. The real kicker here is the shoe will only cost $85.99!!!!! This a full K-Leather boot with touch control coating an external heal counter and the axeler bottom that is priced at $120.00 right now be will be cheaper than the Copa Mundial. They will be offering it in an indoor and turf as well!!! They canned the chunky indoor and turf outsoles they were using and streamlined this one to make it lower to the ground. This will be one of if not the best new indoor shoe on the market. An sg model will be made as well but the rep didn't have a sample on hand to show me.

After that there some lower end models that aren't worth talking about but these are the goods on the new high end models

Thanks a lot Jc18star.

It's nice to hear that the Diadora line is staying as kick-ass as ever. Their current 'new' line is pretty spectacular as it is.

Wow, as soon as you have sizing info you better get that in.

I would guess from knowing Diadora that going at least half a size down from your normal shoe size is your best best if not a whole size. Diadora is a large fitting brand.

Absolutely fantastic! These boots all sound fantastic and imo are the best looking boots I have seen all year. There is a fine mix of simplicity and detail...brilliant Italian design as usual. I saw some very low end Diadora boots while on holiday and they really looked good.

As soon as you get to hear about a detailed description of the sizing and fitting please elaborate. The best boot I would compare against is the Absolute...so if I could eventually get a close comparison then that would be great.
