Who has class?
I'll start
Thierry Henry--not only is he brilliant, he's thoughtful. When Arragones referred to him as a "black piece of sh**" among other things, he spoke out against racism and proved himself on the pitch. WTG Thierry
Anyone else?

I really respected the way Oliver Kahn went over to Lehman before the PK's against Argentina and talked to him and instilled some confidence in him. It wasn't an easy thing to do after he'd been relegated to bench duty. I liked that.

One of the best moments of the WC. :)

Henry has zero class. In particular, he cryed a great deal about Barca's diving after Arsenal was fairly beaten in the Champs League final. Then, he proceeds to flop around during the World Cup more than anyone this side of C Ronaldo.
Again, Henry has no class at all.

Yeah, when you first think of class, Henry probably looks like a good guy, but his diving antics were surprising, imho, definetely in this WC.
I thought the Australia side was pretty classy in it's entirety when it got eliminated on a very questionable PK call. Though I didn't look into too far about it after, it looked to me like Australia just accepted it and just moved on.

Deco and van Bronckhorst after both getting red cards, they shake hands, and watch the rest of the game together.

Even though their sending off does not indicate class AT ALL, they way they handled it afterward was a nice sight to see

Yurgen Klinsmann (sorry if the spelling is wrong).. He's really a great person. He coached very well, he respected every single opponent, trying to bring always the flag of fair play.
I liked a lot 4 example when in the semi Ballack didn't give the ball back to Italy (after the italians had put it out 4 an injury) , and Klinsmann personally said "sorry" to Marcello Lippi 4 what the player had done on the field. Pure class :)

I have to agree, Klinsmann is great. I really respected how he was applauding when Grosso had just scored in OT.

Well.. In that moment I think it was applauding in order to encourage his players not to give in, since there was stil a couple of minutes ;)

That's CLASS!
Yes it is class and a showing of respect towards each other, but you think their action on the field was classy? I mean Deco picking up the ball (which earned him his second yellow) to take time off the clock and to prevent the Dutch more time for a scoring opportunity is class? Surely not.
I see what some of you are saying, it was a show of class towards one another but prior to that, their behavior on the field was short of class

You're probably right :p Either way, it does show class. He didn't look dejected or furious as many other coaches would be.

He picked the ball for like 2 seconds, dropped it right away, then got thrown to the ground by Cocu (who didnt even saw a yellow card for that). If someone has no class in this history, it's Cocu. Better, Holland had NO class at all. Reason? Asshole dutch coach telling Heiting not to give the ball back to Portugal after the game has been interrupted by the ref when Portugal was attacking == NO FAIR PLAY.
Holland lacks of class, you bet!

Tinidad and Tobago--
There was little chance for them to advance, but they played like they were just happy to be there. They were the Brazil of the tournament for me(lacking the extradinary skill and depth of course). They played for joy, for country, for pride.
Yay TnT!!!

I agree, I was happy for them with their tie vs. Sweden. Great example!

Henry is a diving, faking, piece of crap.
Y'know, just because someone insults you, doesn't make you some kind of saint. Even if it is a racial comment.
But some people always need to have a good guy and a bad guy.
