I just got a couple or so questions about these two youngn's who have a VERY bright future and will probably end up as legends that played at same time. Granted my questions being answered depends on a whole lot of assumptions but thats what makes it fun. :)

1. Who will score more goals?
2. Who will win more FIFA player of the year awards?
3. Who will have more success in the NT/WC?
4. Who will break more records?
5. Who will have the "better" legend?
and finally...
6. Who, after both of their careers are done, can be compared closer to Maradona?

Also, while were on the topic of future Argentine stars, some guy listed them for me awhile back but I forgot lol. Could somebody list them please? I know of these two magnifent young players (they're younger than me even lol and I am 18) and GK Ustari who I read has the potential to become the worlds best keeper.

I think Aguero is likely to score more goals than Messi simply because Aguero is an out and out striker. Messi on the other hand can play anywhere in midfield, wide left or right, central midfield and behind the strikers if he needs to. Messi can do the lot and is the closest thing Argentina will get to a new Maradona, although as well know there will never be another Maradona.

There are a lot of talented Argentine players at the moment, Tevez/Masherano/Gonzalo/Gago/Zabeleta etc, if you look at some threads below (specifically the 2010 world cup and Copa America one you will see them listed).

So they are more like a Ronaldinho and a Ronaldo then?

yeah kind of but Aguero can also be an attacking midfielder he's more like totti and del piero he can do both but the best way of fitting him is attack and messi is like the C.Ronaldo type of player or something like J.Cole they can play attack and good at it but there better of being midfielders :>

Aguero was rushed to Europe way too soon. Fortunately he is playing la liga along with Maxi and Franco. This should help him adapt faster.

Messi did not have to make this transition which is always very hard especially if you are playing at a top club with all the pressure. This is a huge advantage that Messi has over any other Argentinian or South American player . Even Maradona had trouble adapting.

Aguero is likely to score more goals than Messi not just because of his position on the field but also because his finishing touch is much more lethal.

You should find an answer to all your questions next season ;)

i think Aimar is about to move to Zaragoza which would be great! D'Alessandro, Aimar, D.Millito, G.Millito, Ponzio, Ewerthon! it would definitely be a contendent team! now that Atletico is getting some new good stars they've already got 3 or 4 i think and all of them were good players in their previous teams including Maxi, Aguero, Torres, Kezman, Costinha, Pernia, A.Lopez, Ibanez, Ibagaza, Calvo so it looks like a solid team i hope they both do well next season and i really dont know what Madrid are gonna do with the Brazilians that they have they're pretty worthless! :/ sorry but its true im also excited about River getting Belluschi! this guy is a bomb he might be on 2010 wc roster

Well el niņo Torres probably won't be in Atletico next season. Aguero was purchased as a replacement for him. And I read that Maxi is already getting some offers after his great WC so I don't expect to see him stay with Atletico very long.

For now it's all speculation because Aguero still hasn't proven himself in La Liga whie Messi is already a starter for arguably the best club team in the World. Like Pekerman said I think Aguero was rushed to Europe but I fully expect him to perform well.

No, Aguero hasn't proven himself in La Liga, this may have something do with him not having played a single game in La Liga, although I could be wrong on that.

We'll find out if he moved to soon to europe, I don't think he should be judged to quickly as it may take him one season to adjust.

 I know he hasn't played a single game. But for now Messi has the upper hand. When Aguero plays and starts scoring goals and having the same impact Messi has we'll talk. For all we know he might fail. Not that I expect him too. As I said I fully expect him to perform well.

I wanna see Cavenaghi playing in another league. He's needs to get the hell out of Russia.
