Perkins - 6 stoned Ngwenya, one bad drop, commanded box generally, distribution erratic.
Namoff - 5.5 not much offense
Boswell - 5.5 solid, but Marshall owned him on corners late in the match
Erpen - 5.5 another "bomb" off the crossbar, weird bicycle "clearance" at the end
Olsen - 5 he isn't a replacement for Gomez
Simms - 5 Lagerway correctly noted his passing was erratic
Carroll - 6 MOTM he just keeps getting better
Gros - 4.5 always running, his offense was offensive
Adu - 5.5 Fred, the right peg is for more than holding you upright
Moreno - 5.5 played like a Captain
Eskandarian - 7 for the goal, -10 for the "stupid Esky" foul on Gonzalez. I know strikers are temperamental, but Jeebus, take a Valium and don't do something stupid that could get you tossed in a one goal game on the road.

Gomez - 5.5 did what he was supposed to do - try to maintain possession a man down
Wilson - 5 provided needed defensive cover
Quaranta - was he on the field? Moreno is subbed out because he's gassed and knows he can't play honest defense. Quaranta's sole job for the 10 minutes he was in the game was the RUN and cover the space that Moreno just couldn't anymore -- he didn't do that. Compare Quaranta's 10 minutes with that of Rozental. While Rozental probably rates a "4.5", at least you know he was there.

Perkins - 6 - Strongest game of the last handful. Still a bit shakey at times though. Are we seeing Perkins at his peak, or is Nicky not challenging him enough in practice?
Namoff - 6 - Good strong game from him.
Boswell - 6 - solid as usual.
Erpen - 6 - Bad luck with the crossbar, but I thought you had a good all around game. Didn't seem to have the :eek: moments this game.
Olsen - 5 - I love your passion, but the attitude has to go.
Simms - 6 - Solid as usual.
Carroll - 6 - Solid as usual.
Gros - 5.5 - Work as hard as you always do, but I can't really think of you being that involved this game.
Adu - 5.5 - Seemed to disappear late in the game, about the time that we were getting pressured.
Moreno - 5.5 - Not really sure why Gomez got the rest instead of Moreno. I think he could do with a bit of a break too. Not a bad game, but nothing to write home about.
Eskandarian - 4.5 - Nice goal, but WTF? No call for it. No need for it. And you were just lucky you didn't blow the game (though how many more could we have possibly gotten without having to protect our lead down a man?) :mad:

Gomez - 5.5 - Nothing really electrifying from you when you came in.
Wilson - 6.5 - Really seemed to help lock down our defense when you came on.
Quaranta - 4 - So you are supposed to be healthy now? Where is all this talent we keep hearing about?

Perkins - 6.5 - nice save, some scary oments
Namoff - 6 - didn't hardly notice him at all, I'm going to say that's a good thing
Boswell - 6.5 - stand up job. Is he geting shorter?
Erpen - 5.5
Olsen - 5 - great hustle, but too much of it used in a non-positive soccer way.
Simms - 4.5 - passed the ball like he was playng for columbus. thankfuly settled down, but only after we were down to 10 and he had to.
Carroll - 6.5 - he was all over the place
Gros - 5 - who?
Adu - 6 - thought he played well, even though he must have wondered why Benny got the middle instead of him.
Moreno - 6.5 - Jaime holding the ball is always fun to watch
Eskandarian - 4 - hell of a goal, other than that ran around alot and acted stupid once or twice, got caught once and had to shower early. Jamil Walker, heal thyself

Subs
Gomez - 5.5 - new role as a sub, got acclimated fairly quickly and helped with a bot of possession late to seal the win, made columbus' defenders play honestly instead of sneaking up.
Wilson - 6 - much more impressed these last two games with his late energy and positioning
Quaranta - 5.5 - wasn't sure about a 5 or a 6, kinda want to give him a 5, I expected a bit more possession, some nice passes though.

Perkins - 6 - Decent stops but still has some very shaky plays. Owes Simms dinner after he cleared the sitter.

Boswell - 4.5 - Bad yellow, completely owned on set plays, poor passing.
Erpen - 5.5 - Decent with some ok moments and a good shot on goal.
Olsen - 5 - Not his best effort. Stupid yellow card.
