Cafe Nero. Lovely little place. I believe it is over in Earls Court as you come off the Tube to the left.

All depends where you're staying, and how far you'll travel

The Generator: Good party hostel with lots of other travelers near Russel Square. Has its own bar and club and is very easy to meet people at. They have mostly dorm rooms, so it may not be ideal if you're travelling with someone special and want/need that alone time at the end of the day. Can get a bit loud.

Only just noticed this...I lived on Kenton Street (the road opposite the cobbled alley that leads to the Generator) up until about a year ago! Small world...lol

This question may have already been asked...I'm really sorry if I'm bringing up something that's already been answered.

When is next season's schedule released? I'm thinking of possibly going over Thanksgiving or around the Christmas break.

Usually in late June if I remember correctly.

Hi, I hope this is the right place to ask about hypothetical ticket availability—I couldn't find any discussion on tickets for the upcoming Champions League games. Please delete this or move it if it's in the wrong place.

I read that Arsenal assumes all arrangements are made before the Arsenal America ticket request, so I wanted to find out if I had a chance of getting tickets before making travel arrangements.

My sister's birthday is on Feb. 21, so I was thinking of taking her to the PSV away game as a present. But I have no idea how tickets for a big-event game like this are distributed or if it is particularly more difficult to get them for away games (PSV specifically said that they don't have any tix for Arsenal fans). The first game isn't quite 10 weeks in advance either, but the announcement was only made a couple weeks ago.

If it's a better shot, I could try to the home game against PSV instead. It might be more fun to see a game at Emirates anyway...

Urgent question - I am a Red Member but a mate of mine is over there now looking to get a ticket and asked if he could use my Membership info. Will the Club allow this and what do I need to do and what does he need to do?

I think that he'll need to have your membership card, as they act as the tickets now. But if you buy a ticket online and send the card over i don't think there will be a problem.

it's not really called a schedule

Does it really matter if it's called a schedule or a fixture list?

I am a new member and I hope I will not be banned from being an English Arsenal fan. Good luck to all you Americans coming to see Arsenal play at Emirates! It must be quite a trek to come over from the USA to support Arsenal and all the fans value your support Im sure. I was born not that far from London about 30 mins on a train and I suppose I have a Londonish accent and I have been to Highbury a few times. I am a new Red Ticket member at Arsenal but I wanted to ask is Emirates as good an atmosphere as Highbury?

Im English and from London, so you won't get banned. We're from all over here. In my opinion as a season ticket holder - no - Highbury was much better.

Welcome to the board.

I agree, but I think that it comes down to little more than the memories Highbury had inside it. Time will give those things to the grove. The old Boston Garden was POS whose time had come. The fleet center or whatever they call it, just lacks the romantic of Auerbach and Byrd's ghost. Same thing IMHO.

The Grove has the potential to be louder.
