I'm really digging the new black vapors, but don't really want to fork over nearly 200 dollars for a pair. I was wondering if anyone had/has any experiences with Talarias. Is there really a big difference between Talarias and Vapors?

Help me out people!

The only difference is the heel counter on both of them. The Vapors have none, and just a little carbon fiber part that holds the shoe together, while the Talarias have a plastic counter which holds them in place and they are a bit lighter and cheaper :)

made of out of different materials, the heel in the vapors, has alot more support than in the talarias.

vapors are made out of a thinner material that adjusts to the shape of your foot. Talarias are made out of a thicker material that doesn't adjust to your foot. vapors are also 1oz lighter or something lol. hope that helps :)

Well the Vapor 2 and Talaria 2 didn't offer much difference as a matter of fact the Talaria 2's IMO were better than the Vapor 2. They had a softer upper and better foot to ground comfort, much the current situation with the Tunit and the F-30's where the F-30 is a better over all shoe.

The current models though have to edge it to the Vapor. It is a better constructed shoe and made of better materials including the carbon fiber support shank (even though I have seen a few of these snap, including my own). The Talaria has a cheap upper and a really boxy fit, it isn't worth the $90.00 retailers are charging for it IMO. Although I wouldnt suggest either shoe for someone because neither of them are that great.

If your looking for a similar style shoe to the Vapor either get the Lotto Leggenda, Zhero Evolution, K-Leather Puma V-1, or the F-30's they are all much nicer than the Nike's. If you must have Nike the Legend or the Total 90 4 (if it fits your foot) are much better choices.
