I hate that position for messi, he was played there at the WC and pfff, he just didnt seem to fit there...

play him where Barca does or use him as en enganche, hell, he even said in an interview his favorite place on the field is in the center midfield.

Just make sure Messi is on the pitch, I don't care what position but put him in the starting line up.

Incidentally what about the following who do not appear on your list:

All of whom are young and have at least 1 or 2 world cups left in them.

Gonzalo and Aguero should be certain starters.

Palleta has great potential but right now he needs to adjust his game. I would say that he is still pretty sloppy in his tackling and is often guilty of hacking down the other players. Gonzalo was probably the most impressive Argentine defender in Europe along with Milito.

yeah i guess ur right but hey i dont think its a good idea having lucho on the left!!!!!! one more thing what about Osmar Ferreyra???? he plays good passes and has some good ball control he's not old either!

i like ferrari's style! he's fast good defensively and offensively and also has some nice crosses!

Maxi Moralez seriously guys keep an eye on this guy he has vision! and kind of like the ortega type of player just keep an eye on him as for the right side Ferrari, Zabaleta, Cabrera they all deserve a shot at least they've done a good job with their clubs and the left side is kind of like a question mark but i like Clemente, Mareque!

I saw Morales play for the under 20 side in the Toulon tournament and he looked the business, very skillful. I guess the question mark against him (as with a lot of Argentine players of his type) is whether he would be physically strong enough to play in europe or go up to the next level. Lets hope so.

Doesn't a national side have the right/power to call up any players for official FIFA matches? Also, I think the tournament will be during late June/July..."out of season" for Barca.

but, clubs manage to send different messages to coaches and players before the call is official at the fax machine for FIFA
