Does anyone have any clue how much a player in the SPL makes (on Average per year)? Just Curious.

Anything between £500 p/w and £30,000 p/w.

If I was to guess i'd say the average wage of an Old Firm first team player is about £15,000, high earners more than this but less than they used to. At the other clubs probably about £5,000 for the bigger teams (Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs) and less than that (£1-3000) for the rest. I think Stan Petrov and Bobo Balde are on about £30,000 and St. Mirren players are on about £750 on average. Killie players are on about £2000 I think.

I know Derek McIness at Dundee Utd was on £6,000, but they've been getting rid of their high earners. Most are on half that now.
