Why are there no Bayern shirts?

Well, these are orphans in remote areas of rural Iran, I doubt they can afford authentic shirts of their choice, whatever shirt they are wearing are charity hand-outs.

I would've thought Karimi would've given them all one with his name and number.

That would have been a nice gesture. But from the looks of it, Karimi is dropping by on his way to a city destination, and this wasn't a pre-planned visit. Apparently, he did however make a monetary donation to this orphanage.

This is a good idea.

Well, as Mani said, he did make a monetary donation. Besides, hopefully HIM just being there will be a good memory for the kids
Besides, you can't always have your trunk filled with Bayern jerseys to hand out at a moments notice.

I wish I could. That would be awesome.
Anyway, great of Ali to do this. Imagine being a little kid and playing with your national sports hero. Wonderful.

thanks for the clarification. but even if you didnt explain that to us what he did was a great gesture and i become a bit more of a fan of Karimi because of it. you can tell just by the way he is dressed that he didnt plan on being there all day because if he did you'd probably see him in a bit more relaxed outfit. its funny seeing him run around in his dress shirt though.
