Haha it's a good thing I didn't order a shirt with Odonkor on it!

Anyway, whom do you guys think i should have on the back of my Dortmund jersey? i want a player who won't be going anywhere fast and who should show consistency so that my shirt will have a good name on it.

Tinga maybe? Sahin? Metzeleder (dont think so, might leave)? Pienaar? Valdez? frei?

I'd be grateful for some suggestions.

Tinga, Frei, Dede, Weidenfeller, Kehl.

If they can sell Odonkor, I think everyone else is fair game too....... :mad:

Best bet and my favourite player is Dede. Here since 1998 and just extended till 2011. One of the most constant players. Also one of the favourite players of the Westfalenstadion audience.

Ordering up one of these bad boys with the sponsor logo (it's not bad). Getting the Ligalogo as well.

The logo actually has nothing to do with the sponsor and is just some artsy fartsy thing. The problem is the sponsor is a new company formed from the merger of two German companies, but did not create a new name and official company logo in time to debut it on the jersey. Their sponsorship of Dortmund will be used to introduce the new company to the public.

I'm missing those beautiful jerseys during Dortmund's glory years, circa mid 90's. Yellow & black is the killer combination, isn't it?

For what it's worth, I'm sure you could pick up the same thing for half that on Ebay. There's plenty of brand new jerseys like that available, and god knows any number of second hand ones. Just thought I'd mention it in case you didn't want to spend £30.

That's right. You might have to get with someone in Germany to arrange for the shipping, but yeah, you can get older shirts much, much, cheaper.

It's just the away jersey from last season with that horrid looking symbol on it. Don't waste your time with it.

Next season the jerseys should be back to normal.

It's not really the jerseys, though not my favorite at all...it's our sponsors logo!!! *puked a little in my mouth*...I would have to get the jersey without it. The ladies attire looks nice too...should get one for Lisa.

R.A.G. were supposed to have their new logo done back in the October/November timeframe.

Don't know what happened.

I was going to get myself one of the striped shirts, but I've convinced myself that they are part of the problem with us this season, so I won't be buying one..... :o

I saw a lot of women in the ladies shirts at the season-opening celebration and I have to say, they looked good on the ladies.......

I think the club only made about 5000 of those. If they don't have any at the official site anymore, I think the only other place to check is ebay Germany.

and what the fock is that symbol u guys have? a box with a yellow card in it? and i thought 2nd half of the season was goin to be with the new sponsor, im sort of confused and disappointed

Dude, if you'd looked up one post before the one you responded to, I said R.A.G. was supposed to have their new symbol done in the October/November timeframe, but we don't know what happened.

That hideous exclaimation point in the green box was the work of some local artist named Ottmar Alt.

I don't know who the hell he is myself, but I do know that symbol is ********in' ugly and it ruins the entire shirt.
