Man I think Italy is far far better than this Germans. I'm surprised how they also whistled through the Italian National Anthom, that's unsportsman like. Just like the english disrespected our anthom in 2002 this kind of display should be punished on their football federation. Now watching the italians I realize that our guys cannot take it when the fans go against them, they collapse under pressure.

Yeah, I'm watching. I can't help thinking that it should have been us in there. We had it within our grasp, with just ten minutes to go...

Oh, well. I'm going to stop torturing myself.

Nahh man, our guys have a long way to go to play the way Italy is playing. I'm watching this game, our guys are way inferior mentally than the italians. Germany basically has been erased from the match and the fans are not singing nearly as much as when we played against the germans. Camoranesi is playing very good, this is something I don't forgive Bielsa for not calling him. Our guys looked way out os shape compared to Italy, every time a German touches tha ball there 6 italians around him like ants, comapre that with every time Riquelme lost the ball, he would never come down and recover the ball. Even though our guys are a bunch of brothers they don't play as a team, our strikers don't defend, they are prima donnas, the italians everyone participates, they all work. Damm Camoranesi is so good, I will never forgive Bielsa and he should never ever bo argentina's coach again.

Yeah, Camoranesi is an animal. But I don't think the pattern of this match is much different from the quarterfinal. I think Italy is doing what Argentina was doing. They are pressuring Germany and getting the best of the action, but they are forgiving. They are not finishing their chances. They better have something to show soon for their better play, or Germany will make them pay. They are dangerous on the counterattack.

Notice that all the italians attack and defend together, there are no riquelmes or Crespos walking around by themselves waiting for a lucky pass from somewhere. The Germans are walking with their tongues out, they can't keep the pace because the italias win almost every time the bump into the germans. Even the german fans are whistleing against their own team and the Germans have not even come close to scoring.

Exactly. I posted my opinions regarding that in the The Official "I Hate Pekerman and I Want to Stab Him With a Knife" Thread :p

Buen partido, muriendo que no esta Qrgentina, pero contento que por lo menos Italia gioca col forza

Somebody explain to me how Camo - el que no cantaba el himno de Italia porque, como dice el, "soy Argentino" - is NOT on the Albiceleste? Think they could've used him out there once el puto JRR se canso?

It is not like we need Camoranesi. We have much better options out there. But Pekerman think that they don't fit in the team, Because remember this is Riquelme's team. We need to play slower than a turtle. We do not need fast players who make "mistakes"

O MAN lucky German crap.

LOOK AT ITALY. This is wonderfully unlucky. They hit the post twice. This is the attacking football that I want to see. We never created this type of danger. It was such a perfect opportunity for Messi, Saviola or Aimar.

We also need some width. We do not have any wingers. We were so predictable in the attack.

GO AN WIN ITALY.

Let me remind you that we lost it after Riquelme was taken out. He should have played better but he's not the reason we lost. Do you think Totti is playing better than Riquelme? I don't think so. It's ok to be critical of our team, but lets not overdo it. So far Italy did not get any better results than Argentina did. And one good reason why Italy is getting chances is that Argentina wore the Germans down. Another one is that they lost Frings. Kehl is garbage and they miss Frings in midfield.

Totti is much more direct than Riquelme. He is playing positive attacking football. I never said Riquelme is the reason for our loss. But he is the main reason why our attack was never effective against Germany. Look at the space that Italy is exploiting. Why do you think we were never allowed such space ? Because we were too slow and predictable. I am not blaming him for anything. This is the way he is and we took a risk that never paid off because he was not on form.

Now Frings is an important factor ? The man is not even half a Demechelis  The German players are all inferior to the Argentine and Italian players. It is not their individual characterstics that allowed them to reach the semifinal or the final four years ago.

Also I do not think Italy has a better team than Argentina. I think we have more talented players. I think we have an overall higher quality.

Those lucky German want to take it to penalties.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAALL.

That is how you win games. Bye Germany. You will not be missed.

The German are not worth a damn.

Give them some credit. It was one hell of a game. But Italy deserved the win and is a worthy finalist. No question about it.

Oh well, at least one of our guys will be in the final. Go Camoranesi!
