Latley, the media has been questioning Ronaldo's weight. Is he fat or not? In my opinion it doesn't seem to be affecting his goal scoring ability that much. Of course, he has been quicker in past world cups, and he can probably be quicker if he loses some pounds, but what's the normal weight for a striker anyways?

Depends on the striker. Saviola from Argentina is probably around 68kg and Zigic from Serbia around 95kg. Doesn't really matter.

Ronaldo is not fat if we take fat for having extra fat. He's probably over his best weight, too strong to be as fast as he could.

In any case, he's been the top scorer in the history of the WC, and perhaps the best scorer ever, which doesn't mean he is any longer that good.

He is clinically obese.

He is much bigger now than his last WC Finals.

I dont think he is fat, he hasnt been training as hard as he had in the late 90s era - this has made his muscles weaken and his skin sag.

He is still the top scorer of this WC and aslong as he can manage to put the goals in then I dont think it matters how fat he is...

flab-aldo!!!!!

He is slow and fat. He still performs well against lower talented teams. He has tremendous skill, that is why he is out there. He never should have played against France.

heavier than past world cups yes and a little overweight. still, if he hadnt been out there against france we would be here arguing that he shouldve been out there.

He has got fatter, you can tell on the pitch, he seems slow and cumbersome, he cant run aswell as he has been able too in previous tournaments and his touch is poor and un controlled (as we saw in the match against France yesterday). Hes a shadow of his former self.

If you think Ronaldo is fat then you should visit Florida.

LOL, if he lived there people would be whispering behind is back in supermarkets "Is Ronaldo Anorexic?"

He has a bulky torso and a double chin. He's not that fat for a normal person, but for a professional footballer he's morbidly obese. Brazil couldn't carry him forever, especially in a 4-5-1.

Way slower than his 2002 version.

He might've finally filled in. Some of us fill in later than others, but it happens.

He's not that fat now, but just WAIT til he retires. He will be fatter than Maradonna ever was.
