I personally dont mind seeing him leave. He played well for america and helped them to a championship, but his recent form had been only so so. The whole team needed a sweeping change, and this is only part of it.
The only problem I see with this is with torres just leaving and cuevas soon to go, the team now needs help in the midfield. It would be good to see some of the young guys come up, but the most likely replacement will come from the draft of seleccionados, I think.
