If it's really hot where you play why do you want to wear an undershirt? If you sweat alot and you want to wick the sweat away from your skin i would suggest Helly Hansen.May sound strange but this is what i wear when i play and train. They pretty much invented the material we know as Dri-Fit,Climacool,X-Static etc.

Whichever undershirt you decide on, make sure it is sleeveless.

Yeah. I just recently bought an undershirt too. Under Armour to be exact, and i wish i would of gotten a sleeveless one. I havent used it yet, but when i put it on the short sleeves annoyed me.

I have got a couple of White long sleeve Nike dri-fit ones. I think these are quality! they keep your body heat in mainly. But i have recently been wearing mine for pre-season and i must say...i think i have lost aload of weight! which isnt good as i was only 10 stone. But regardless, i think they are great for when it is bitterly cold out. Dont know if it just me, but it feels like when the wind blows, i feel it everywhere except where my Nike under jersey is! so overall i would say just get a Nike one as you know what your getting basically. Good luck on it anyway though mate.

i use Russell brand sleeveless shirts under my jerseys. They are a dri-fit/climacool type of material and i got them at TJ Maxx here in TX for $5 each. Check out you local TJ Maxx or Ross or something like that they usually have pretty good stuff including nike and adidas.

As I said b4, I can't speak highly enuff of UA, although it is pricey. The shortsleeves do ride up if u ghet the shirt supertight, I got a bigger size in the Metal and it's soooooooooo sweet! As for sleeveless, might not be a problem but I find u sweat most where skin touches skin, so armpits get nasty, which is removed with a s/s UA top wicking the sweat away/mopping it up!
Oh yeah, does any1 know why TJ Maxx is TK Maxx in the UK? Always found that one strange

haha i just recently picked up a dri-fit nike top from tj maxx and wore it this weekend in a tournament. It helped me survive the heat so i would recommend it. I wear an UA top for the cold wear and its amazing i'd pick one of those up if ur ever playing in the cold

I have several nike Dri-Fit T's and long sleeve shirts that I've gotten from my local ROSS and MARSHALL'S, and I bought them for about $10 each, so about half price.

i had the same thought process for when it is hot out so i bought underarmour the same as the nike dri-fit and a had to take it off about 10 minutes into the game because i couldnt breathe.
