Any other marathoners around here?

I wondered if I'd seen Schwabe13 during the past Houston Marathon wearing his Stuttgart jersey, rather than threadjack that thread, started one over here - it would appear there are at least three of us who have run the the Houston Marathon-

Zolafan ('94, '96-'98, '00, '03, '05, plus NYC Marathon '98)

I've always wanted to run one. :o

I used to run shorter distances. There's something about going further then a couple of miles makes me want to go get the bike.

It really points out the difference between running to run and running to play soccer. I could cover to marathons running around on the pitch, but you'd never catch me trying to run even a lowly 5K. Running for it's own sake just isn't that much fun for me.
