One of the team's few bright spots is out the next two games. An overreaction by MLS:

It's time for Buddle to step-up and show that the trade wasn't a mistake.

What heppened exactly? I don't remember seeing some violent conduct. Does it really warrant a suspension?

It was during the play where Amado tried to shoot using the outside of his right foot and it went sailing over the bar.

Peguero and Marcos Gonzalez were running behind the play and, to me, looked to get tangled up a bit. As they're both half-stumbling forward, Peguero turned and gave Gonzalez a open-handed smack to the face.

It wasn't a violent punch or that hard of a smack, but it wasn't Peguero inadvertently swinging his hand and it happened to connect with Gonzalez's face.

Seems more like the league trying to send the message that kind of action won't be tolerated. And I can understand that logic.

Where were they when we played those scrappy games against the Fire during the OZ era?
