To me this should be the least interesting match today. I don't really see the Ukraine giving Italy that much of a match. Persistent infringement, simulation, shirt pulling and cheap off the ball stuff from Italy and less so from the Ukraine should be the main concerns. I don't recall the Ukraine playing a high offside trap. I would look to again protect the more skillfull players particularly Chevchenko who will be a marked man tonight.

good control of the game - maybe a little too strict - one glaring mistake (pk for a clear foul on Camoranesi), fortunately for him not critical. But he's not going to call the final

No difficult game, in general he did a good job if only he wouldn't have shyed away from whistling pk's. Italy had to get one as you mentioned and Ukraine at the end of the game (Shevchenko)

No. Only Cannavaro was offside ( Toni was absolutely on line with the defender marking Cannavaro ). But it still had to be called offside as he was in an active position ( he almost reached the ball ).
