A Spanish referee will ref the Brazil France game after France just knocked out Spain in the previous game. What do you think about this? Have you seen such an assignment before? Do you think it's a mistake that they would fix if they realized it? Or do you think they think it's not an issue?

Well, I can think of a somewhat similar appointment.
1994 Italy:Bulgaria semifinal, with a French referee (Quiniou).
Bulgaria had eliminated France from qualification (They qualified in place of France).
Stoitchkov's post-match comment: "God is a Bulgarian, but the referee was French".

But what do you think about it personally? Do you think it is inappropriate?

I'm sure the referee has enough class to call a fair game.

Career comes before Fatherland...
That's not always true. If it were, we wouldn't mind putting in a Brazilian or French referee to ref the Brazil-France game.
