I was beginning to wonder if this was still the England forum :D There are more Portugese in here these days than the rest of Bigsoccer put together.

England
Robinson, Neville, Ferdinand, Terry, A Cole, Beckham, Lampard, Hargreaves, Gerrard, J Cole, Rooney.

Portugal
Ricardo, Miguel, Carvalho, Meira, Valente, Petit, Maniche, Sabrosa, Figo, Ronaldo, Pauleta.

Big game for Rooney, he looked stronger late on against Ecuador, but it's vital he gets the support from midfield to make the 4-5-1 work. He can do it all on his own, but that's a lot of pressure.

I feel good about it :D

I hope it's a wide passage leading out into the stadium, wouldn't want any of the portuguese to trip before they actually got onto the pitch.

Will Figo pull another hissy and abandon the team if they're losing and looking like going out?

Will Terry and Rio be able to get the argies head out of his arse?

Will they break Rooneys foot again to stop him playing?

Will they have the grass cut short enough for the Portuguese?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I'll bet he gets a well placed - accidental of course - kick on his broken foot, in the first 25 mins of the game.

Any takers?

Is Neville in for certain? I prefer Hargreaves at RB. Also, I'd opt for Lennon to start this game. Like so:

Lennnon----Beckham---Gerrard----Lampard----Joe Cole

Rooneh cannot be too isolated, Cole and Lennon and the rest of the midfield have to link up with him.

3-1 wow England barely gets 3 shots on goal a game, they better all go in.

Against your piece of shite defense, I don't see a problem with that...

Interesting game.

I think England will have more chances than in previous games because Portugal like to get forward.

So that gives england a good chance to sting them on the break. Expect to see more of Rooney and Gerrard.

I would have backed portugal to outscore england if deco was playing. He is one of the better players in the world (the little shit head).

Without him, you wonder if portugal have enough goal threat.

HAHA we only allowed 1 goal so far even playing holland a man down, and Holland has 3 times the offensive power of England but good point awsome observation. Hey you trully showed your amazing offence against Paraguay and Trinidad also those poor ecudorians had no idea what hit them shot after shot. Yah you got me this Enlgish offence is something to worry about. I will give you this I think the plan might just be to make the other team fall asleep then as they all take there naps you strike.

What a lot of people don't realise about Portugal is that large parts of it is third World, we went there in 2004 and the first thing that strikes you are the child beggars at the border, we then preceeded accross country using the half built roads and dirt tracks, it seems incredible that an established European Country in 2004 has to sponge money from the EU to build bloody roads, England had roads 2000 years ago. The shanty towns were an eye opener as well, you'd never see anything like those in England it reminded me of Cambodia in a drought, but apart from all that it's a lovely place if you don't mind the smell.

No the plan is that you will be looking at the beauty of how England plays, and then wonder why your dirty, cheating team has to take so many dives and why they get carded so much...In the meantime, Rooney will be putting the ball in the back of the onion bag..

Let me ask you a quick question, If a shot misses the net is it a shot on goal you goof? let me adjust those stats for you. 5 shots vs Paraguay, 8 shots vs T&T, 8 vs Sweden and 3 vs Ecuador. Yes i was being sarcastic my point was the offence just isnt there. I am 100% Portuguese and your 100% just plain stupid.
