After watching so many MLS games this season, I have seen McDonald's signboards in almost every MLS stadium. So it seems like McDonald's is advertising locally, but since they are advertising locally in every stadium, they might as well become a league wide sponser like Pepsi, Bud, Honda, etc.
MLS could really use a fast food sponser anyways...What yall think?

Pepsi is a national sponsor, Pepsi also owns Yum Brands (KFC, A&W, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut) so it'd be a conflict of interests.

Pepsi doesn't own YUM Brands as of about 5-10 years ago.

Are we sure that some of these aren't tied to the stadium, as opposed to teh sport(Doesn't the Razor have a McD's inside of it?)?

There is also the potential issue of FC Dallas playing in Pizza Hut Park. Not sure how direct of competitors Pizza Hut and McD's think they are, but seems like it'd be a problem.

You would think, but The Fire play in Toyota Park and have Honda as their uniform sponsors.

I find it Ironic that fastfood sponsors sporting events. Its like a Church advertising at a Brothel.
