Magath got balls, I'll give ham that. Not many coaches take out a CB and put in a striker 5 minutes after they equalize in a difficult away game. Dzeko not ready to play from start due to the flu that has been bothering him, but he gets in there and gets a penalty for Wolfsburg. Toni and Altintop should ask Grafite for advice on how to kick penalties :D

Wolfsburg have signed Christian Zaccardo for €7M.

Now that's not the club that I expected to bring the second Italian WC Champion to Germany. :p It wouldn't surprise me to see them in the top 5 next season.

The Barzagli transfer seems to be under way seriously. 15m is probably a bit high, see article, Fiorentina apparently offered 8m.

For someone of my generation, truly strange that Italian football fans might develop a faint interest in the Bundesliga.

Edit: Vfl management says, apart from the quality of the players, the point is to buy Italian to please the many Italians living in the area. Haha.

Anyway Wolfsburg aren't qualified for Uefa Cup yet, they'll probably still need a result away to Dortmund which will be tough for them to get.
