Well, they were always afraid of their own courage when playing in Munich. Even last season when Wolfsburg was up 2-0, they got scared, and lost 2-4.

But I agree, that was too much respect in first half time. I think there were not as bad as against Hamburg, but that level is not Wolfsburg....

They have lost against Hamburg, Bayern...the next opponents are Schalke, Leverkusenn.....interesting.

I think, the upcoming break because of WC games is doing good for them.

for the good of bundesliga, i hope they get thrashed, which will result in a Veh's resignation before its too late for wolfburg to qualify for teh CL knockout stage

WTF does that have to do with anything??

Was Magath not the coach who drove Wolfsburg to that title last season?

Besides, NOBODY wins with Scheisse!

So why the first sentence that has nothing to do with anything being discussed?

I dunno...It's kinda my way of saying; neither is doing so hot with their new clubs.

Missing a key player like Josue wasn't helpfull today against a strong offensive Bayern.

The prob was that wolfsburg did not played to their strongest point which was attacking football. i do not believe a loss of a player which cause the whole tactics to change. Its juz the coach mentality and his tactics

What are other's predictions of this weekends match with Bayer 04 Leverkusen?

Hopefully, we see the highly offensive style Wolfsburg.

I think we're going to see an offensive slugfest just as these two played in Wolfsburg last season.

Hopefully, this time, the referee won't decide the match..........

This report (http://www.ruhrnachrichten.de/sport/fussball/News-Wolfsburgs-Kapitaen-Josu%E9-trainiert-wieder;art522,664986) says Josué completed a full training session with the team without problems and might be available for this weekend's match against Leverkusen.

Josué suffered an outer meniscus (knee) injury in Wolfsburg's 4-2 home defeat to HSV back on August 23rd.

so you are going out on a limb to say the chances of a 0-0 match is very slim.:p

I'm happy to see Josue back this early. I thought the injury would be far more serious.

This season is not gonna be very rosy for Wolfi, it seems. :o
I probably should not be saying much: I am a Dortmund fan. :(

Not seen the match. So far they have lost against some bigger sides Bayern, Hamburg, and Leverkusen. Next week Schalke.

The defensa looks rubbish, at least Misimovic scored. Love him.

ummm....what was Veh thinking in not starting Dzeko?

This guy cannot possibly last much longer at the club at this rate.

Dzeko is out of form. Don't see the problems in the attack anyway. I have read that Wolfsburg was 30 minutes the better side, and then the ref sent the goalie off, people wonder about that decision...

Dude, it is no coincidence that both of Woflsburg's goals came after Dzeko had been on the pitch.

It is sad to see such a good job done by Magath at Wolfsburg to be destroyed by a moron such as Veh....

... and this is why an out of form striker first did not score and secondly could not stop Wolfsburg from losing...but that's not his job.

You can't expect anyone to come off the bench and overturn a 3 goal deficit. He did affect the team positively and even won the team a penalty. He should have started. That loss and others were on Veh. He is not getting the team to play to their potential, that is very obvious.

I read somewhere that Dzeko didn't start because Veh was saving him for the CL.

Sure having 3 strikers out there helped them get back into the match and wasn't there a player off for both clubs by that time so more open space on the pitch.

That said, Dzeko wouldn't have helped them where they need the most help these days and that is the serious lack of defense. Sure, they have the talent to keep scoring but they will have to win 4-3 every match the way their defense plays.
